I have the honor to transmit herewith

official letter from the Military Department; containing the terms on which the buildings, originally erected by Sr Henry Pottinger for the accommodation of Civil Servants, have

been transferred for the use

of the Troops

The erection during the last three

of sufficient dwellings

years. now enables the Civil

Officers of the Colony to provide themates with accommodation . The annual rent to be paid into the Colonial Treasury is 1600 Dollars,
